Sleeper Retaining Wall Pro is a local Australian business offering specialized sleeper retaining wall services. With no previous online presence, the client needed a high-converting website that could effectively showcase their services, improve visibility in local searches, and convert visitors into actual leads. I was brought in to handle the entire project—from design to deployment, SEO, performance, and ongoing maintenance.

To get started, I conducted a thorough competitor analysis to understand the strengths and weaknesses of other businesses in the same niche. This helped me identify missed opportunities in layout structure, content quality, and SEO strategy that we could capitalize on. The client provided basic content, but it lacked depth and SEO value, so I rewrote and expanded it to deliver better context, clarity, and keyword-rich copy that aligned with local search intent.

Since we were working with WordPress and Divi, I made sure to push its limits by incorporating custom CSS for more complex layouts and interactions that Divi alone couldn’t handle. Most of the visual effects and animations were powered by Divi’s built-in tools, but where necessary, I hand-coded enhancements to maintain consistency and performance.

One of the critical goals was to ensure the site loaded quickly and ranked well. Large image files, excessive plugins, and bloated code were non-issues from the start, as I built the project lean. Images were compressed into WebP, caching was enabled, and CSS and JavaScript were minified to improve overall site performance. On top of that, I implemented structured data using schema markup and optimized every page element—from meta titles to internal linking—to support a local SEO strategy tailored for the client’s region.

Throughout development, responsiveness was a priority. I carefully refined each section to render flawlessly across mobile, tablet, and desktop devices using Divi’s responsive controls and custom CSS for precision. The site was tested thoroughly across browsers and screen sizes to ensure universal accessibility and usability.

After launch, the website met every key objective: it was fast, optimized, visually engaging, and ranked well locally. It provided the client with a professional online presence that positioned their brand competitively in the local market.

Although the initial project is now complete and the website is live, I continue to offer maintenance services for future updates. The foundation is strong, and whenever the client is ready to scale or introduce new features, I’ll be ready to support the next phase of development.
