The client, a local business in Australia specializing in sleeper retaining wall construction, needed a complete website redesign. Their original website was outdated, slow, and lacked proper SEO structure — all of which limited their ability to convert traffic into leads. The goal was to modernize the look and feel of the site while also improving speed, SEO, and user experience across all devices.

They provided a short timeline — just one week — to redesign and rebuild the entire 8-page website. I started by analyzing the client’s existing site and conducted a quick competitor audit to understand what design patterns were working well in the niche and what to avoid. With that insight, I created a design prototype in Figma and received prompt client approval to begin development.

Elementor was the primary builder used for the project, with additional custom CSS to implement more complex layout effects and visual treatments. To ensure clean SEO structure, I optimized all content — expanding on the client’s brief copy while embedding relevant keywords — and handled local SEO through Yoast SEO, including metadata and schema markup. Performance-wise, all images were compressed and converted to WebP format, unnecessary scripts were removed, and caching strategies were implemented to boost load speeds.

I also integrated Google Analytics to track site performance post-launch, and installed NinjaFirewall to strengthen site security. Responsiveness was handled carefully, with all sections tested and refined for seamless viewing on mobile, tablet, and desktop.

Despite the tight deadline, the website was completed and delivered on time. It now loads 80% faster than the original, has a sleek and modern visual appeal, and ranks better in search engines due to the improved content structure and on-page optimization. The client was highly satisfied with the results and praised the complete transformation of their website.
